Turmeric Milk a Tasty Treat!

2 cups of almond milk, 
1 tablespoon coconut oil, 
1 teaspoon ground turmeric, 
1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 
1 teaspoon of maple syrup.   
pour all ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a light boil. Stir ingredients. Reduce heat to low and simmer for up to 20-30 minutes. Strain the milk. To serve, add cardamom or a dash of cinnamon. 
Turmeric contains lots of nutrients especially antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Turmeric is especially known for its benefits to digestion, immune function, and liver health
