Serums, Creams, Sunscreens and Eye Creams.   What to do with all of these? To ensure that your skin is getting the most out of each product you have to know the order to apply. If you don't put your products on in the proper order, not only will the products not work effectively, it's a waste of money, time, and effort . A good rule of thumb is to go from lightest to heaviest and layer water-based products under oil-based products. It is best to apply most products when the skin is moist because active ingredients can penetrate better when they are dissolved. Serums are the thinnest products so they go first. They usually have antioxidants or peptides to minimize the day’s damage done to your skin and to give you a more youthful appearance.
