Turmeric Milk a Tasty Treat!

Ingredients:                                                  2 cups of almond milk,  1 tablespoon coconut oil,  1 teaspoon ground turmeric,  1 teaspoon of cinnamon,  1 teaspoon vanilla extract,  1 teaspoon of maple syrup.    Directions:                                                 pour all ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a light boil. Stir ingredients. Reduce heat to low and simmer for up to 20-30 minutes. Strain the milk. Coconut Mango Green Smoothie

Ingredients:  1 frozen banana, 1/3 cup frozen mango, 1/3 cup almond yogurt, 1/3 spinach, 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds, handful of cashews,1/2 cup coconut water, topped with goji berries & pumpkin seeds.  Directions:  blend all ingredients together in blender.                             Spinach contains magnesium that helps in replenishing your lost energy within seconds.

Peanut Butter Coconut Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients: 1 cup almond milk 1/2 frozen bananas 1/4 cup oats 2 tablespoons peanut butter 1 tablespoons shredded coconut 1 tablespoon chia seeds Optional Toppers: Shredded coconut and chia seeds.                Directions: Blend all ingredients until smooth.                       Coconut helps to increase energy by burning fat. Healthy Zucchini chips

Ingredients: 1 zucchini, sliced very thin 1 tbsp olive oil,  sea salt Directions: Preheat oven to 400  Coat zucchini slices with some olive oil and sprinkle sea salt. Arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer on the rack. Bake 15-20 minutes. Turning over halfway through. Vitamins A & C found in zucchinis are strong antioxidants and are very helpful in maintaining a healthy and youthful skin. Vitamin A provides a healthy skin and vitamin C fights against free radicals that are harmful to the skin that cause aging of skin like appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, as well as age spots.

Ingredients: 1 Dozen asparagus, (Cut off tough part and discarded) 1 ripe avocados, (cut in slices) ½ cup almonds, toasted 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted Dressing:  2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil  1 tbsp orange juice 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp sesame oil finely grated zest of ½ lemon, no pith  sea salt & ground black pepper   Directions:  Cook asparagus in boiling water for 3 minutes then drain. Superfood Smoothie Bowl

3/4 cup almond milk 1 sliced frozen banana 1 cup coarsely chopped carrot 1 pitted and soaked medjool date 1 scoop vanilla protein powder      1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp ginger 1 tsp maca powder 1 tsp flaxseed                             1 tsp cacao nibs                           1 tsp shredded coconut          Place first nine ingredients in a blender and process until everything is smooth. Chocolate Smoothie Protein

1/2 cup rolled oats 1 avocado 2 tsp cacao powder 1 medjool date 3/4 cup almond milk 1/2 cup ice  In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately. Smoothie Bowl

1 ripe banana, 1/2 an avocado, 1 tsp cocoa powder, 1 1/2 cup almond yogurt or coconut yogurt 1 tsp Manuka honey, Ice, And a splash of almond milk.       Topping: Gluten-free granola Goji berries.                                   Add all ingredients to blender. Blend until smooth. Add toppings. Serve right away. Enjoy with a spoon!   Bananas are rich in potassium and moisture, banana hydrates and moisturizes dry skin, making it soft and supple.
