Green Detox Juice

1 apple chopped 1 lemon peeled 2 celery stalks 1 cucumber 1 cup of spinach 1 cup of parsley Add all the ingredients together in a juicer and juice.                               Celery is rich in Vitamin A, C and E which act as potent antioxidants by reversing and protecting against free radical damage. Vitamin A delays signs of aging. Vitamin E keeps your skin moisturized and hydrated from within. Celery is a good source of skin friendly minerals like magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, selenium and potassium which keep your skin youthful and glowing. It is also low in calories.

Vegetable Fried Rice

2 3/4 cups water, 1 1/2 cups white rice, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped carrot, 4 chopped asparagus, 1/3 cup frozen corn,1/3 cup frozen peas, 3 tablespoons olive oil,  1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil, 1 teaspoon glutenfree soy sauce, garlic and pepper to taste.                      Bring water to a boil. Add rice, reduce heat, cover and cook over medium low heat until tender, 15 to 18 minutes.  Heat a nonstick skillet over high heat. Add oil to the pan. Add onions,carrots, asparagus to the pan and quick stir-fry veggies 2 minutes. Add rice to the pan and combine with veggies. Fry rice with veggies 2 or 3 minutes. Add peas, corn, gluten free soy sauce, and  toasted sesame oil to the rice and stir fry 1 minute more, then serve.                                Rice is cholesterol free. Chocolate Smoothie Protein

1/2 cup rolled oats 1 avocado 2 tsp cacao powder 1 medjool date 3/4 cup almond milk 1/2 cup ice  In a blender, combine all ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately. Fresh Summer Salad

Fresh summer salad 5 Roma tomatoes cut in half 1/2 cup chopped parsley 1/4 cup chopped red onion 1 teaspoon olive oil drizzle of balsamic vinegar salt and pepper to taste Toss all ingredients together and serve. Tomatoes contain a power house nutrient, lycopene, which has an impressive spectrum of health benefits. Lycopene isn’t the only antioxidant tomatoes are rich in. Antioxidants help to eliminate dangerous free radicals that damage DNA and cell structures in the body. Tomatoes contain a rich amount of vitamin A and C, which are known to brighten the skin.

Smoothie Bowl

1 ripe banana, 1/2 an avocado, 1 tsp cocoa powder, 1 1/2 cup almond yogurt or coconut yogurt 1 tsp Manuka honey, Ice, And a splash of almond milk.       Topping: Gluten-free granola Goji berries.                                   Add all ingredients to blender. Blend until smooth. Add toppings. Serve right away. Enjoy with a spoon!   Bananas are rich in potassium and moisture, banana hydrates and moisturizes dry skin, making it soft and supple.
