Turmeric Milk a Tasty Treat!

Ingredients:                                                  2 cups of almond milk,  1 tablespoon coconut oil,  1 teaspoon ground turmeric,  1 teaspoon of cinnamon,  1 teaspoon vanilla extract,  1 teaspoon of maple syrup.    Directions:                                                 pour all ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a light boil. Stir ingredients. Reduce heat to low and simmer for up to 20-30 minutes. Strain the milk. Coconut Mango Green Smoothie

Ingredients:  1 frozen banana, 1/3 cup frozen mango, 1/3 cup almond yogurt, 1/3 spinach, 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds, handful of cashews,1/2 cup coconut water, topped with goji berries & pumpkin seeds.  Directions:  blend all ingredients together in blender.                             Spinach contains magnesium that helps in replenishing your lost energy within seconds.

Peanut Butter Coconut Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients: 1 cup almond milk 1/2 frozen bananas 1/4 cup oats 2 tablespoons peanut butter 1 tablespoons shredded coconut 1 tablespoon chia seeds Optional Toppers: Shredded coconut and chia seeds.                Directions: Blend all ingredients until smooth.                       Coconut helps to increase energy by burning fat. Healthy Zucchini chips

Ingredients: 1 zucchini, sliced very thin 1 tbsp olive oil,  sea salt Directions: Preheat oven to 400  Coat zucchini slices with some olive oil and sprinkle sea salt. Arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer on the rack. Bake 15-20 minutes. Turning over halfway through. Vitamins A & C found in zucchinis are strong antioxidants and are very helpful in maintaining a healthy and youthful skin. Ingredients: 1 Dozen asparagus, (Cut off tough part and discarded) 1 ripe avocados, (cut in slices) ½ cup almonds, toasted 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted Dressing:  2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil  1 tbsp orange juice 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp sesame oil finely grated zest of ½ lemon, no pith  sea salt & ground black pepper   Directions:  Cook asparagus in boiling water for 3 minutes then drain. Goji Berrie Bars

Ingredients :  2 cups rolled oats, 1 cup pumpkin seeds, 1/4 cup pecan pieces chopped, 1/4 cup walnuts chopped, 1/4 cup chia seeds, 1/3 cup sesame seeds toasted ,1/2 cup water, 4 dates seed removed (soaked in water for about 10 min), 1/2 cup shredded coconut, 1/2 coconut oil,3/4 cup goji berries (soaked in warm water for about 10 min), 1/3 cup peanut butter, 3 tsp cinnamon.                          Directions:  preheat oven to 180°. Toast sesame seeds on baking paper on tray. In a cup add the chia seeds and water. Leave for 10 min. Combined oats, pumpkin seeds, pecans, walnuts, shredded coconut, and cinnamon. Stir until all mixed. In a food processor blend dates, and coconut oil. Add the dates and 1/2 coconut oil, peanut butter, goji berries together and mix until well combined. Blueberry Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients: 1 cup chopped kale  1 tablespoon chia seeds 1 cup almond milk  1½ cups frozen blueberries ½ frozen banana  Toppings: ½ banana, sliced ¼ cup blueberries 3 strawberries, sliced 1 teaspoon chia seeds 1 tablespoons chopped almonds 1 tablespoons unsweetened coconut shavings ¼ cup granola  Directions: Place the kale, chia seeds, and milk in a blender and puree until smooth.  Add the frozen blueberries, and banana to the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour smoothie into a bowl and garnish with toppings. Blueberries are a good source of antioxidants. They are rich in fiber as well as vitamins A and C, while low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium.

Vegetable Fried Rice

2 3/4 cups water, 1 1/2 cups white rice, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped carrot, 4 chopped asparagus, 1/3 cup frozen corn,1/3 cup frozen peas, 3 tablespoons olive oil,  1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil, 1 teaspoon glutenfree soy sauce, garlic and pepper to taste.                      Bring water to a boil. Add rice, reduce heat, cover and cook over medium low heat until tender, 15 to 18 minutes.  Heat a nonstick skillet over high heat. Add oil to the pan. Add onions,carrots, asparagus to the pan and quick stir-fry veggies 2 minutes. Add rice to the pan and combine with veggies. Fry rice with veggies 2 or 3 minutes. Add peas, corn, gluten free soy sauce, and  toasted sesame oil to the rice and stir fry 1 minute more, then serve.                                Rice is cholesterol free. Smoothie Bowl

1 ripe banana, 1/2 an avocado, 1 tsp cocoa powder, 1 1/2 cup almond yogurt or coconut yogurt 1 tsp Manuka honey, Ice, And a splash of almond milk.       Topping: Gluten-free granola Goji berries.                                   Add all ingredients to blender. cauliflower rice with sundried tomato basil

1 large head cauliflower, cut into small florets 6 cherry tomatoes chopped 2 cups baby spinach 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes 3 tbs of flaxseeds 1 tbsp. basil freshly chopped basil Juice of one lemon.                        1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil.     Place cauliflower florets in a food processor and pulse until it resembles rice.            Place cauliflower "rice" in a pan, on a low heat and slowly remove the moisture. Add everything to cauliflower except for the basil, keep simmering  and stirring on a low heat until the lemon juice disappears Once the moisture is gone turn off heat, add the fresh Basil and stir through and serve.           Cauliflower contains antioxidants, which work as anti-aging agents for the skin.
